Bureau of Visual Art is the archive of work by Matt Krygowski. A New Yorker living in the United Kingdom.
I'm a Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Art Director. I work with Interactive Design, Identity, Branding, Concepting, Photography, Print Design, Illustration and Animation.
BVA is a project I started to archive as much as possible of my experimental work. You won't see actual comissioned or client work here, for that visit Madeform. Some of it was lost due to moving around, some was lost due to disks being corrupted and some was lost just because it was on various computers I owned in the past. This is both a archive and a ongoing project that I will use to re-cycle my old work, use past ideas to inspire new work.
While documenting and experimenting with new ideas for me it's also a way of changing my workspace, approach to working, documenting them and archiving.
My work was published in various books and magazines, I never took the time to actually archive all that until this point.
Some of my work featured at/in: OFFF Lisbon 2008, OFFF Barcelona 2007, Semi-Permanent 2008, Semi-Permanent: Auckland 2007, Semi-Permanent: Sydney 2006, MegaBox Hong Kong, Empty magazine, ROOT magazine, Born magazine, Beta magazine, Destructed magazine, HEAD magazine, Bak magazine, Bestia magazine and others..
